We are proud to be a growing, international team and we all have a passion to do our best for our customers, the planet and each other.We are currently recruiting a Strategy Manager within NGV.As a Strategy Manager, you’ll join the European Offshore Development team reporting directly to the Head of European Strategy. The European energy landscape is changing rapidly, and you’ll play a key role in supporting the NGV Interconnectors business in defining its strategic direction to enable net zero and drive future growth.A co-ordinated approach to offshore development is vital and the creation of an integrated North Sea grid will help to take advantage of the rapid growth in offshore wind and strengthen cross-border interconnector links. This role offers an incredible opportunity to join a high-calibre team at the heart of the energy transition.This role can be based from London or Warwick, and you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home.About you

  • Experience in strategy development and/or execution in large and complex corporate and commercial environments, with an ability to apply a broad set of strategic frameworks to solve real business issues.
  • Broad understanding of the energy sector and regulatory issues affecting the industry and long term internal and external influences.
  • Ability to work with and influence senior leaders and engage effectively at multiple levels across an organisation.
  • Ability to lead and deliver high priority projects.
  • An understanding of the operational and commercial challenges faced by a business.
  • An ability to convey complex strategic ideas and proposals to a wide range of audiences in a structured and logical way, through both written and verbal forms.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders to facilitate cross functional teams which operate collaboratively and innovatively.
  • Ability to challenge entrenched thinking in a constructive manner; a willingness and openness to receiving similar challenge.
  • Ability to coach others to meet their full potential.
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent.

What you’ll getA competitive salary between £67,000 – £84,000 – dependent on capability.As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
