The team sits within the Business and Investor Advisory group. Typical projects undertaken within the Business and Investor Advisory group include providing commercial, technical, economic and financial advice to financial investors, energy companies, governments, developers and international finance institutions in the infrastructure space, specifically in the energy/utility and transportation sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality economic, strategy and policy advice to our clients across a range of energy project (e.g., electricity, gas, hydrogen and emerging technologies), transport (e.g., electric vehicle charging), water and the built environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects to a range of public and private sector clients. This will include undertaking economic and market analysis, and providing commercial and strategic advice. You will also be responsible for preparing proposals and supporting the delivery of project work, including authoring high quality reports and verbal presentations.Projects may range from desk-based research studies, market assessment, asset evaluation, policy and regulatory advice, business case development, economic appraisal and policy design. Project work will require a range of quantitative skills from handing, analysing and presenting data, to financial/economic analysis. Alongside this the candidate should be able to think critically and distil and communicate complex problems to clients simply. Arup is a multidisciplinary consultancy and whilst you will have specific experience in one or more of the above sectors you will have the freedom to work with experts from a range of disciplines.Requirements:
