  • Lead strategic planning initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, business development, market research, and identification of new business growth opportunities

Corporate Strategy Development:

  • Oversee the development and updates of the company’s corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and mission
  • Develop in-depth integrated strategy and financial plans for ExCo and Board review
  • Lead the organisation’s progress on strategic priorities to ensure alignment with long-term business objectives

Business Development and Market Analysis:

  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential corporate partnerships to drive revenue growth
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform financial and strategic decision-making

Change Management:

  • Lead change management initiatives associated with large-scale corporate projects and organisational transformations.
  • Ensure changes are effectively communicated and implemented across the company to promote understanding and engagement at all levels

Collaboration with Leadership:

  • Work closely with ExCo and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the successful execution and implementation of strategic initiatives

RequirementsProfessional Skills

  • Proven experience in strategic finance, corporate development, and M&A
  • Strong leadership and partnership-building skills, with experience collaborating with public and private sector stakeholders
  • Experience in market analysis, financial planning, and corporate strategy
  • Knowledge of digital transformation strategies and tools
  • Excellent communication and change management skills
  • Ability to oversee complex projects and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient in financial modelling and valuation techniques
