What is the role?Applications are sought from interested applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Band 6 Strategic Property Planning Team member, Property Policy and Governance sitting under Property Planning & Futures Section (PP&F) which resides within the Property Command.PP&F provides advice to a broad range of groups including the AFP’s Senior Leadership, property forums and business areas. This advice seeks to inform them on matters relating to the strategy and/or planning to deliver future infrastructure, facilities and property-based solutions.PP&F also continually test the viability of properties against:
Outcomes enable PP&F to know the future suitability of properties across the AFP’s diverse Property Portfolio.In response, PP&F develop funded strategies to ensure the Property Portfolio is ever evolving to ensure it maintains its principal role of, supporting the delivery of law enforcement capabilities/operations and accommodating the AFP’s skilled workforce and assets.The Property Planning Team Member is a new position responsible for developing and maintaining robust documentation on accommodation requirements and understanding the strategic direction related to all business areas across the AFP.
