Job description: The Strategic Planner – Brand Communications is crucial in driving market growth and enhancing brand positioning by crafting and executing strategic plans. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in market research, digital marketing, and strategic communications, with a strong grasp of emerging technologies and digital trends. Responsibilities: Market Research & Analysis: Leads comprehensive market research initiatives to identify emerging trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics within the digital and innovation space. Utilizes advanced analytics tools and methodologies to gather actionable insights and provide strategic recommendations. Prepares and delivers in-depth market analysis reports to senior management and key stakeholders. Strategic Planning: Develops and implements innovative strategic plans that align with client objectives and capitalize on digital and technological advancements. Collaborates with clients and internal teams to define strategic goals, identify opportunities, and drive business growth. Monitors industry trends and adjusts strategies to maintain a competitive edge and address evolving market needs. Communications Strategy: Creates and executes forward-thinking communication strategies that enhance brand health and engagement across platforms. Oversees the development of compelling content, messaging, and campaigns tailored to target audiences and aligned with digital and market trends. Evaluates the performance of communication initiatives and refines strategies based on data results and feedback. Innovation & Digital Integration: Stays abreast of the latest digital tools, technologies, and innovations to incorporate into strategic planning and communications. Advises clients and internal teams on best practices for leveraging digital channels, social media, and emerging technologies. Drives the integration of innovative solutions into marketing and communication strategies to achieve impactful results. Leadership & Team Collaboration: Can lead and mentor future junior strategists, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Works closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, digital, and client services, to ensure alignment and execution of strategic plans. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience with advanced digital tools and technologies, including AI, machine learning, and automation. Knowledge of current trends in digital innovation, including virtual and augmented reality, blockchain, and data privacy. Familiarity with digital content creation and management platforms (e.g., CMS, social media tools). Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications Research, Business Administration, or a related field (Digital Marketing, Strategic Communications are a plus). 3-4 years of experience in market research, strategic planning, and communications strategy, with a focus on digital and innovation sectors. Expertise in digital marketing strategies, data analysis, and the latest industry trends and technologies. Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), digital marketing platforms, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau). Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information and strategic recommendations clearly and effectively. Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
