Collaborating closely with the procurement team, you will oversee implementation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and risk protocols.In this role, you’ll be responsible for shaping the strategic roadmap to enhance and broaden our Business Banking services. Your focus will involve driving partnership strategies to identify areas for improvement, whether through refining existing processes like KYC solutions, introducing new offerings such as payment solutions, or facilitating scalability.Success in this position hinges on providing clear strategic guidance, leveraging data insights and customer feedback, and effectively managing stakeholder relationships across the organisation.Join us at ING Australia to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to growth and innovation.What you’ll do

  • Build Strategic Partnerships: define partnership principles and frameworks to set our strategic direction, creating a differentiating offer in the market.
  • Identify Opportunities: evaluate and prioritise partnership opportunities based on customer needs, competition, and market dynamics to stay ahead in the business banking landscape.
  • Collaborative Integration: work with cross-functional teams to define business requirements for products & services that meet customer needs, guiding delivery teams on building necessary capabilities.
  • Efficient Implementation: manage the approval and implementation process, including regulatory and risk requirements, with our Centre of Excellence and procurement team.
  • Continuous Enhancement: analyse customer feedback with partners to improve customer experience through digitalisation, process optimisation, and account lifecycle servicing enhancements.
  • Performance Evaluation: conduct regular performance reviews based on defined metrics, establishing clear KPIs for success like customer acquisition rates, revenue growth, and satisfaction levels.
  • Expand Our Network: win, build and launch new partnerships while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive collaboration and enhance our competitive edge in the market.

What we’re looking for

  • Degree qualification in a business, management or finance discipline
  • Business Banking Expertise: 8+ years of experience with in-depth knowledge of Business Banking, including products, customer segments, service models, portfolio dynamics, and B2B banking trends (CX & sustainability).
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to set strategic direction, articulate partnership strategies, and prioritize initiatives with cross-functional teams.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Experience managing multiple projects in complex, multi-geography environments, driving change, and influencing diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Extensive data-driven decision-making, strategic thinking, and ability to integrate solutions through partnerships.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizations and drive results.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint & Excel).
  • Nice to have: Excellent negotiation experience and stakeholder influence.
  • Nice to have: Experience in strategy consulting and research (quantitative & qualitative).
