Job description: Maynooth University is committed to a strategy in which the primary University goals of excellent research and scholarship and outstanding education are interlinked and equally valued.The Strategic Outreach and Marketing Officer in the Admissions and Student Recruitment Office at Maynooth University will play a key role in enhancing the University’s brand presence, expanding domestic outreach, and supporting student recruitment objectives through innovative and data-driven marketing and engagement strategies. Reporting to the Undergraduate (UG) Student Recruitment Manager, the Officer will contribute to the University’s strategic growth by leading initiatives across schools, colleges of further education, and career exhibitions.They will be responsible for supporting the Undergraduate Student Recruitment Manager in creating and executing a strategic recruitment plan for domestic growth. This includes developing targeted outreach and marketing campaigns that enhance the University’s presence in schools, colleges of further education, and career exhibitions. The Officer will lead the Schools Liaison programme (including the School Visits and Career Exhibition calendar), ensuring alignment with the University’s strategic objectives and effective execution of recruitment initiatives across key regions. They will coordinate a comprehensive calendar of events, identifying opportunities to strengthen engagement and strategically target areas for growth.In addition to event and programme coordination, the Officer will use historical data to design and refine recruitment strategies, tracking outcomes to enhance impact. They will also collaborate closely with the Communications and Marketing Office and external agencies to manage annual undergraduate recruitment campaigns. Relationship-building with external stakeholders, including schools and guidance counselors, is a critical part of the role, as is overseeing key outreach activities such as career fairs and the schools outreach programme.This dynamic role requires a highly organised, strategic thinker with experience in marketing, stakeholder engagement, outreach coordination, and leadership, ideally within the context of education or recruitment. The Schools, Outreach, and Marketing Officer will be a crucial contributor to the University’s growth strategy, representing Maynooth University to prospective students and influencers across Ireland.Salary:Administrative Officer (2024): €57,484 – €82,017 p.a.
