Job description: A leading UAE government entity is seeking an experienced professional to drive and implement sustainability initiatives, environmental policies, and long-term strategic frameworks aligned with national goals. This role involves leading cross-functional programs, collaborating with key stakeholders, and ensuring best practices in environmental governance, resource management, and sustainable development.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing sustainability strategies at a national or enterprise level, with expertise in policy-making, regulatory compliance, and impact-driven initiatives. A background in environmental management, corporate sustainability, or public-sector sustainability leadership is essential.Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and overseeing sustainability frameworks, policies, and programs aligned with UAE government initiatives.
• Driving cross-sector collaborations with regulatory bodies, private sector partners, and international organisations.
• Implementing environmental and sustainability measures that support national and global sustainability agendas.
• Leading research, data-driven assessments, and reporting on sustainability performance.
• Advising senior leadership on climate change policies, ESG trends, and regulatory developments.
