We offer standardized transport as well as highly specialized end-to-end solutions to customers in a wide range of industries globally.DHL Global Forwarding UAE has an opening for a Strategic Growth Head DGF MEA where you will manage and drive Strategy 2030 implementation and adjacent projects with importance to Regional Management and our 4 Bottom Lines, support functions on growth initiatives, e.g., M&A, Commercial Strategy, Product innovation, enhance the overall effectiveness of the CEO’s Agenda and the Regional Management Board as well as drive selective growth projects in DGF MEA countries. • You will Manage and implement Strategy 2030 and the growth aspiration of DGF MEA.
• You will leverage cross-functional business knowledge and expertise to make recommendations on and/or challenge decisions/activities of the Management Board.
• You will represent the Management Board during Countries visits.
• You will develop and keep up to date Strategy projects.
• You will support Countries Senior Management Teams for the preparation and implementation of Strategy 2030 and related projects.
• You will attend Reviews in countries with the CEO and Regional Product Heads and manage/follow up.
• You will manage the special projects and reviews between the Board and the Countries, including the development of improvement measures.
• You will lead and/or support Regional/Countries CI initiatives.
• You will development and proper implementation of Strategy 2030 projects.
• You will be responsible for the management of ad-hoc tasks from MMB / CEO.
• You will provide support and development aid to Countries.
• You will have no direct reports and authority over Country and Functional staff but must influence Regional and Country Senior Management Teams into delivering on commitments/ deadlines.
• You will require ability to lead large audiences, physically or virtually.

Now, here’s what we need from you

• Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in General Management of large and complex service-related business, preferably in the Freight Forwarding Industry and/or with MNCs.
• MBA/Post-Graduate Degree in Business Economics/Finance or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar capacity would be preferred.
• Familiarity with the DGF organization is a distinct plus.
• Consultancy background can be a plus.
