Together as an organisation, we make magic happen. About The Role We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Senior Analyst to join our Strategic Finance team. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and supporting key business decisions by providing in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, to support the development of long-term financial strategies and ensure financial goals align with company objectives. Job Description Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial models to assess business performance, potential investments, and strategic initiatives. Provide forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to evaluate business opportunities and risks. Strategic Planning & Business Partnering: Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to influence the strategic direction of the company by providing actionable financial insights. Support the development and execution of long-term financial plans, aligning with business goals and market opportunities. Evaluate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive financial performance and identify areas for improvement. Reporting & Presentations: Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics, strategic initiatives, and recommendations. Provide clear, concise, and actionable insights to non-financial stakeholders. Mergers, Acquisitions & Investments: Conduct financial due diligence and provide strategic recommendations for potential mergers, acquisitions, and investments. Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for stakeholders, investors, and board meetings. Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, tools, and systems, driving efficiency and accuracy across financial planning and analysis. Ensure alignment between finance, operations, and other business functions to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives. Qualifications Education: Bachelor&aposs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. CPA or CFA designation (preferred but not required). Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or management consulting. Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Experience in managing financial systems and platforms, ensuring effective use and optimization. Experience with the implementation of new financial systems or major system upgrades is highly advantageous. Prior experience in mergers & acquisitions (M&A) or investment analysis is a plus. Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, advanced functions, and pivot tables) and familiarity with financial analysis tools. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow). Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for a broad audience. Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with managing and optimizing financial systems, and experience in the end-to-end process of implementing new financial systems or upgrades.
