We are truly committed to making a positive difference.He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the roleReporting into the Head of Business Performance, the Strategic and Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for delivering robust corporate finance modelling, leading long term and annual planning cycles and providing analysis as appropriate to ensure sound commercial decision making. Other key responsibilities include:
- Directly support the Head of Business Performance by leading the Strategic and Commercial Finance team
- Deliver financial modelling that support Corporate Finance needs enabling capital raising and efficient management of the balance sheet
- Own the financial long-term plan and annual planning cycles
- Define performance metrics and drivers, gain insight from peer analysis and track performance
- Support commercial decision making with robust business cases and analysis
- Own enterprise operational cost efficiency methodology and processes
- Support delivery of information required for Crown monitoring/economic regulation
- Oversee pricing strategies and product development initiatives.

- Tertiary degree in Economics or Finance
- Minimum 10 years experience in a senior level role related to corporate and commercial finance
- Proven experience in leading improvements in fiscal management of large complex businesses
- Proven people leadership skills with a strong affinity for developing your team to their best potential
- Excellent report writing, presentations and briefing skills
- Highly adaptable communication skills with proven ability to work at all levels
