As a team, we leverage Agile ways of working to help our team develop their skills while also making sure our team is focusing on solving the most complex problems for both our customers and team.What you’ll doThe purpose of the wiqNZ team is to unlock the power of insights to imagine retail, which contributes to making Kiwis’ lives a little better every day. We work closely with all WWNZ business units, as well as with the broader wiq team.As the Strategic Analytics Manager you will lead the analytics strategy for a functional domain within the WWNZ business. You will own the relationship with the business to identify opportunities for strategic and high value analytics solutions and to support a squad of analysts to deliver value through analytics and decision-making tools.This role is ideal for a Commercial strategy leader with a passion for data / analytics or an Analytics professional who has experience in driving commercial strategic outcomes, who is looking for career pathways into Commercial, Analytics or Strategy leadership roles.Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership & Value Creation: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, understanding their business challenges, commercial drivers and strategic priorities and translating them into actionable analytical products that can be used to drive measurable business outcomes
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Proactively manage expectations and competing priorities ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Analytics Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of analytics solutions.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Empower the squad with business acumen, strategic thinking, and data storytelling skills to enhance their impact.
  • Be an active member of the wiqNZ leadership team: Proactively lead cross-team transformational projects, and contribute to the wiqNZ direction
