Job description: Job PurposeAs a Strategic Key Accounts Lead, you will be responsible leading the team of Key Account Managers and managing the assigned region to develop and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders in the corporate sector and key accounts. Your primary focus will be on maximizing the commercial potential of our product portfolio within assigned key accounts, which may include large hospital systems, Corporates, pharmacy chains, insurance companies, and other healthcare entities.Education, Experience & SkillsBatchelor’s Degree/Master’s degree5 or more years in Corporates/pharmaceuticals/BankingConsiderable knowledge of marketing products or servicesIncisive analytical and strategic skillsStrong communication (written and oral) skillsKey ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and implementing strategic account strategies to ensure optimal patient access to GSK products.Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, and medical affairs teams, to align Key account strategies with business objectives.Engaging with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, corporates, and payers, to understand their needs and address any barriers to patient access.Monitoring and analyzing market trends, healthcare policies, pricing, and reimbursement regulations to identify opportunities and risks.Advocating for patients by providing evidence-based value propositions and supporting the local adaptation of global health economic models.Identifying potential sources of funding (public/private) and developing tailored solutions/value proposition to unlock funding for patients.Engaging with key opinion leaders and policymakers to disseminate localized value messages to ensure they are well-informed about GSK products before making funding decisions.Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines during pricing and market access processesLead and develop the corporate sales team’s capabilities to create a high-performance culture.Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within key accounts.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.Understand the specific needs, dynamics, and procurement processes of each key account.Why GSK?Uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.GSK is a global biopharma company with a special purpose – to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together – so we can positively impact the health of billions of people and deliver stronger, more sustainable shareholder returns – as an organisation where people can thrive.
