Job description: At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job OverviewData Collection and Analysis:Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources.Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.Model Development:Build and test statistical models (e.g., time series analysis, regression, machine learning algorithms) to forecast key business metrics.Continuously refine forecasting models based on performance and accuracy.Assess market data and indices for forecast correlation.Simulate the impacts of New Product Introduction (NPI), pricing changes and channel packages.Reporting and Visualization:Generate clear, concise reports on forecasting results and model performance.Prepare data models and insights for loading into visualization tools (eg. Tableau / Power BI).Collaboration:Work with other departments, such as sales, finance, and product management, to understand business needs and provide forecasts that support strategic decision-making.Assist demand planners in interpreting forecasts and explaining model assumptions to non-technical teams.Performance Monitoring:Regularly track the accuracy of forecasting models and adjust as necessary.Use performance metrics to evaluate model success and make improvements..Forecasting Best Practices:Stay up-to-date with advancements in statistical forecasting techniques and software.Implement best practices for data handling, model selection, and validation.What your background should look like:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.Proven experience in statistical modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as R, Python, or SAS.Strong understanding of time series analysis, regression models, and other predictive analytics techniques.Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex statistical concepts to non- technical audiences.Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentNICE TO HAVES:Experience of S&OP ProcessExperience in Demand PlanningExperience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)CompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, TeamworkLocation:Alabang, 00, PH, 1226City: AlabangState: 00Country/Region: PHTravel: NoneRequisition ID: 129865Alternative Locations:Function: Logistics
