Job Type: Full-timeWhat Does a Statistical Data Specialist Do?As a Statistical Data Specialist at Dicetek, you will support the construction and balancing of Supply-Use Tables and Input-Output Tables by evaluating, organizing, and processing complex datasets. Your experience with official statistics agencies like the UK or Netherlands Statistical Center will guide the accurate modeling of economic structures.What Are the Key Responsibilities?– Evaluate national and sectoral data for missing information and propose collection strategies
– Organize raw datasets into structured databases, including setting up necessary infrastructure
– Develop frameworks for data classification and balancing
– Create load file templates and assist in transforming source data into compatible formats
– Build concordance tables linking source codes to SUT classification systems
– Help generate initial statistical estimates, including non-observed economic activities
– Support balancing procedures for national accounts data, including:
– Estimating product-level margins, taxes, and subsidies
– Performing product-by-product reconciliation and adjustments
– Document methodologies and implement post-balancing refinements
– Convert data from purchasers\’ prices to basic prices and prepare Input-Output Tables
– Assist in compiling final files for data dissemination and reporting
– Contribute to methodological documentation and develop analytical summariesWhat Skills Are Needed for a Statistical Data Role in Dubai?Education and Experience:
– Experience working with the UK or Netherlands Statistical Center is required
– Background in economic statistics, national accounts, or macroeconomic modeling
– Prior experience in working with SUTs, IOTs, or similar frameworks is essentialSkills:
– Strong data structuring, classification, and reconciliation abilities
