Job description: About the Role:Located in Brisbane QLD – the Stakeholder Engagement Specialist is to provide guidance and support to stakeholder personnel, in line with client requirements.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support and manage Ventia stakeholder personnel, primarily within contracts in Queensland.
• Ensure the stakeholder function is meeting contractual obligations and develop ideas / initiate procedures to create a ‘best practice’ approach.
• Meet with the Client on a regular basis to provide reports, updates and discuss issues.
• Travel inter and intra-state to meet with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work within a wider, large supportive and experienced team

Key Skills and Experience of the ideal candidate:

• An experienced Stakeholder professional, preferably within a previous Telecommunications industry role.
• A proven leader who can provide support to a geographically disperse team.
• Understanding of the obligations under Schedule 3 of the Telecommunications Act.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite. Particularly: Excel, Word, Outlook
