Staying true to our values ensures that we consistently deliver positive outcomes for all South Australians.About the roleAs the Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting SA Water’s leaders and key stakeholders. Your focus will be on coordinating high-quality stakeholder engagement and establishing strong collaborative relationships, both internally and externally. This role will be based at Hope Valley.About Customer, Community and EngagementThe Customer, Community and Engagement group drives customer outcomes by delivering exceptional experiences and tailored solutions that grow business, revenue, and the state economy, while actively engaging with communities, and collecting valuable feedback.In addition, your responsibilities will include:Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.You will:

  • Facilitate strategic engagement with regulators and stakeholders through effective verbal and written communication.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with external stakeholders to support SA Water’s objectives.
  • Manage our CRM database to track engagements and ensure efficient communication.
  • Prepare documentation and correspondence for regulators and senior leadership, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Stay informed on regulatory requirements and trends, ensuring compliance and raising awareness within the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive support to senior staff and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Your success in this role will come from:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and influence relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of regulatory processes and government stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and work autonomously.
  • Tertiary qualifications in planning, project management, law, communications, or a related field (desirable).
  • Ability to anticipate trends and proactively solve problems (desirable).
  • General knowledge of SA Water’s activities (desirable).
