Job description: Job Title: System AdministratorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled System Administrator who will manage a large fleet of Windows machines and interact with clients on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate will be familiar with security requirements and maintain existing pipelines, building on established frameworks rather than starting from scratch.Responsibilities

• Implement infrastructure projects using Terraform as part of a team.
• Create, maintain, and iterate on CI/CD processes for new and existing services, including containerizing workloads.
• Design and deploy complex automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions.
• Manage the organization’s continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis and manage incidents as they arise.
• Secure, scale, and manage virtual environments.
• Continuously evaluate existing systems against industry standards and recommend improvements.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years managing a large fleet of Windows machines, virtual or physical.
• 10+ years of total experience in system administration.
• Strong knowledge of programming, particularly PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of networking and security best practices.
• Proficiency in Linux, Jenkins, Automation, Terraform, and continuous integration.
• Self-starter with a proactive personality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Cloud expertise in AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
• Experience with VMWare and virtualized environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise organizations.
• Knowledge of PKI certificates and Fortigate or equivalent firewalls.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Git experience.

Work EnvironmentThis is a 100% remote position based anywhere in Canada. The role offers a highly collaborative team environment with a flexible 9-5 schedule. There is a strong possibility of extension and opportunities to gain cloud exposure through DevOps practices.
