• This role is all about supporting our Sourcing Risk Assessment Product Owner to drive uplift to our third-party risk assessment system and related tools.
• You’ll be working closely with our Centres of Excellence teams to ensure our risk assessment programs are effective and right-sized. Your goal is to help create a simple, fast, and effective workflow that makes life easier for our stakeholders.
• You’ll be responsible for providing active support and guidance through the third-party risk assessment review and supplier onboarding process.
• This includes collecting feedback and queries from subject matter experts, building and enhancing reporting required by stakeholders, and being a strong advocate for system users.
• Your work will make a real difference for ASB and Aotearoa by ensuring our business owners have the tools and guidance they need to support supplier risk assessments and risk management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you’re a whiz at influencing, negotiating, and sharing key information with stakeholders.
• Strong technical acumen – you’re proficient in SharePoint, Excel, and analytical skills to produce meaningful data.
• Risk management and banking operations knowledge – you understand how to navigate the world of risk and banking.
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure – you’re a self-starter who can handle tight deadlines and deliver results.
• Coupa System or other third-party risk assessment system knowledge – you’re familiar with the tools of the trade (or eager to learn).
• Ability to foster innovation, simplification, and new ways of working – you’re always looking for ways to improve and streamline processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills – you can engage with senior leaders and other stakeholders with confidence and professionalism.
