Learn more about Kemira at .We are now looking for an experienced Specialist (Sr Specialist), Sourcing Indirect APAC to support us with managing indirect spend categories within the region.In this role you will be responsible for:Support APAC Manufacturing sites and other Kemira business entities for managing indirect spending, including but not limited to the investigation of potential vendors, Qualification of existing and potential suppliers, Request for Quotations, Negotiation of contract conditions, Improve Suppliers’ performances, Supplier Audit, Value Proposal and/or other manners. Support internal catalogue creation and maintenance in KEMStore system.What you’ll bring to the team:

  • A degree with work experience in the manufacturing, chemical engineering, Chemistry or other relevant area.
  • Knowledge and experience in MRO works related sourcing works is an advantage.
  • Fundamental understanding and application of best commercial (incl. contractual design) is desired.
  • Good safety attitude and willingness to continuously improve safety culture in day-to-day operations.
  • Team-player with strong communication skills and service orientation.
  • High learning capability of new skills and knowledge.
  • Creative in solving complex problems.
  • Reliability, openness, empathy and assertiveness.

What competencies we expect from you:

  • Preferably bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Management, Engineering or other science-related field.
  • 5 – 7 years experience in a Sourcing or Procurement role, preferably with sourcing experience in MRO and/or Site Services categories for multi-national companies or sufficient experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills; ability to understand and define the most critical issues and develop methodologies for collecting and analyzing relevant data.
  • Strong supplier and internal stakeholder management skills.
  • Sense of urgency and Proactive hands-on attitude.
  • Capable of independently managing multiple tasks/ projects simultaneously within tight timeframes.
  • Experience with negotiating complex legal and commercial agreements terms and conditions.
  • In-depth understanding of the manufacturing environment in general, e.g. equipment contracting and supplier management practices.
  • Ability to communicate technical and manufacturing issues clearly with Suppliers, Business stakeholders, and relevant internal functions.
  • Capability and willingness to operate in an ever-changing environment and still able to move towards the set goalpost.
  • Strong understanding of MS Office, SAP and eSourcing tools.
  • Readiness to travel internationally.

  • Strong interest in improving Contractor Safety..
