Ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and compliance through automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and advanced cloud practices. Conducting cloud migrations, monitoring environments, resolving technical issues, and adopting emerging technologies. Moreover, driving digital transformation, enhancing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring robust security.The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.Main tasks and responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Manage cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using automation tools.
• Optimize cloud resource performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates.
• Conduct cloud migrations, including data, applications, and workloads.
• Ensure cloud environment security, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using tools like Azure or AWS platfroms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in cloud environments.
• Implement and manage cloud-based deployments.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies and solutions.

Office environment, intensive computer screen use, sporadic visits to operation site.Education requirementsMinimum Qualifications for this position is a Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related disciplines.LanguageExcellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) Arabic – Native (desirable)Background and experienceCompetencies and skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Microsoft Azure Associate Certification

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Skill in verbal and written communication, troubleshooting
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as to recognize technical limitations and seek competent assistance when needed.
• Ability to coordinate the tasks of others and utilize leadership skills in a team environment.
• Technical:
• Deep technical expertise in Azure cloud computing platforms with hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments. And comprehensive understanding of other cloud platfrom (AWS, , Google Cloud) including hybrid cloud architectures.
• Strong experience with cloud security e.g. Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity (QA)/(QC)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
