Job description: Our client, a major utility provider in Saskatchewan, is seeking an experienced ONSITE Project Manager to support initiatives under the Intelligent Networks & Infrastructure group. This role will focus on managing technical infrastructure projects related to server, network, and cloud-based services (including Microsoft Azure).The Project Manager will be responsible for full lifecycle delivery of assigned initiatives with a focus on technical project governance, stakeholder communication, and operational alignment. Strong experience delivering infrastructure and cloud-related projects is mandatory, as well as the ability to create detailed project documentation and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams.This is a high-visibility, technical PM role requiring onsite presence in Saskatchewan, with occasional ad hoc flexibility.Key Deliverables:

• Project Management Plan: A comprehensive roadmap outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and risk strategies.
• Detailed Solution Design: Technical specifications and architecture design documentation for the proposed solution.
• Service Recovery Documentation: Plans and procedures for disaster recovery and service restoration.
• Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Regular updates including status reports, risk assessments, and change tracking for all key stakeholders.

Project Scope Includes:

• Server and network infrastructure upgrades and implementations
• Azure cloud services and architecture (IaaS/PaaS)
• Technical governance and security standards
• SharePoint integrations or support
• Cross-functional collaboration with enterprise architecture and IT operations

Core Responsibilities:

• Project Management & Governance
• Develop project charters, execution plans, and performance baselines.
• Lead delivery using internal frameworks, templates, and governance protocols.
• Manage all phases from initiation to closeout.
• Scope, Schedule & Budget Control
• Create and maintain project schedules with critical path tracking.
• Manage scope change, financial forecasting, and accruals.
• Provide project status and milestone reporting.
• Execution & Transition
• Oversee technical implementation, testing, and go-live coordination.
• Ensure service recovery readiness and solution sustainability.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement
• Communicate clearly with business units, internal IT teams, and external partners.
• Participate in vendor management and procurement processes.
• Compliance, Risk & Quality
• Maintain risk logs and mitigation plans.
• Ensure deliverables meet technical, security, and compliance standards.
• Coordinate QA and documentation handoff to operations.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• PMP Certification (Required)
• 7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in technical infrastructure and cloud environments
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects involving:
• Server and network infrastructure
• Microsoft Azure (cloud architecture/services)
• SharePoint
• Governance and stakeholder reporting
• Experience producing solution designs, service recovery documentation, and detailed communication plans
