Job description: DESCRIPTIONAmazon is hiring a Sr Procurement Project Manager to support AWS´ Infrastructure Operations. We are a diverse team of highly motivated, engaged, and responsive professionals that support the core infrastructure of Amazon Web Services´ business. You will work with internal customers to evaluate and qualify vendors, issue and manage competitive bids, manage ordering, and support the implementation of catalogues, contracts and managerial reports. You will provide support as necessary to ensure that all required contracts are fully in accordance to local legislation and following Amazon’s policies. Moreover, create and track KPIs/Reports for Controllership and Fiduciary Controls.The ideal candidate, for this Sr Procurement Project Manager role, is a self-starter, a creative, critical thinker with a curious mindset who is willing to learn. You must be an effective negotiator, leader, and communicator to be able to work independently and generate high-quality work product in a cohesive, creative, ever-changing and sometimes ambiguous environment.Because this position involves direct contact with business owners and external entities, you must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate and interact with people at every level internally and externally, including upper management.Hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance (see https://www.agsva.gov.au/applicants/eligibility-and-suitability)Key job responsibilities
