Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world.Job Description:This role will be reporting into AVP, Expense Reporting & Analysis, assisting in the performance analysis on the financial drivers of our Life and Health (L&H) business in Hong Kong, with a focus on expense management. Responsibilities include assisting in budget and forecast planning processes, and providing business insights to help our L&H leaders achieve strategic objectives.Responsibilities

  • Prepare month-end reporting data along with expense allocation data to facilitate the team in conducting the Monthly Business Review (MBR) with senior management
  • Produce quality management reports to support business decisions and provide analytical support to assist the management team in monitoring financial performance on expense management
  • Collaborate across different business functions to provide analytical support on expenses related matters
  • Assist in the Operating Plan and Strategic Plan processes and provide analytical support, including budget data collection and consolidation
  • Provide support on management reporting system maintenance, database management, and system UAT

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
  • 2 – 3 years experiences in a finance function, preferably in the life insurance industry
  • Experience in financial planning/management reporting and expenses management in insurance industry will be an advantage
  • Experience in Tableau is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and solid knowledge in database management
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Officer.
