You will be responsible for oversight of a team and support efforts of the site and team and individual development. Your level will be determined by your experience and the qualifications of the role.Responsibilities:

• Plan, directs and monitors supply chain and logistics activities, which may include procurement, production planning, inventory control, warehousing and/or vendor management
• Create integrated processes and facilitate communication, planning and coordination among internal functions and outside suppliers to achieve strategic objectives
• Monitors key performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes
• Ensure availability of materials, as scheduled, and maintenance of inventory at appropriate levels
• May support corporate demand planning, working with manufacturing and global planning to match product supply with product demand
• Promote alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and ensuring requirements throughout the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in business, science or related field
• 7+ years’ experience in purchasing/supply chain including managing people and/or projects within the pharmaceutical industry
• Certification in Purchasing management (ISM/CPM) and Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
• Demonstrated success developing and meeting objectives in a team environment
• Proficiency in materials management systems
