Purpose: To inspire joy with wholesome foods.Values: Respect, Teamwork, Accountability, DeterminationPosition Overview: The Brand Design Manager- Art Direction leads others in creating visual assets for brand initiatives across multiple channels and mediums. The position provides direction to in-house and outside agency designers and is responsible for design review and approval in collaboration with the Senior Creative Project Manager. Responsibilities:Essential Job Functions:
- Works with department leadership on the consistent implementation of brand design materials across multiple mediums by creating and implementing visual centers and asset tool kits.
- Develops creative assets and visuals for brand and product initiatives that will be used across multiple channels and mediums, including digital, advertising, retail, trade, event and exhibit.
- Contributes creative ideas to support key brand and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborates within the marketing team to help build process and plans.
- Leads and directs small, cross-functional creative teams and manages projects with outside creative vendors.
- Prepares direction, briefs, plans and art direction on photo and video shoots.
- Is able to focus creative contributions from junior members of the design team and stakeholders to help make them more impactful for the brand.
- Mentors junior designers and helps them to improve their design skills.
- Works independently and collaboratively to develop innovative and on-trend design solutions.
- Designs and directs graphic and packaging files.
- Presents creative concepts to internal clients and leadership.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.
- Complies with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Skilled in using digital design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch up, and Figma.
- Experience operating digital cameras, adjusting settings, and capturing high-quality photographs.
- Ability to image, sketch or render 3D design concepts.
- Advanced presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and design intent.
- Expertise in design with experience working with and excellent understanding of related business areas—marketing, product, sales.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position may oversee up to 1-2 employees
- This position reports to the Creative Director.
Qualifications:Education and Experience:
- 6 or more years of graphic design experience, AND
- 6 or more years of experience working with outside vendors, directing other designers, directing photo or video shoots, leading projects, AND
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related creative field; OR
- Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.
Physical Demands:
- This position requires the ability to sit for up to approximately 2 hours at a time.
Work Environment:
- The primary environment for this position is in an office setting.
- Remote work may be available as an option.
- Employees will be exposed to common food allergens.
Expected salary: $97280 – 121600 per year
