Job description: Senior Associate – InvestigationsResponsibilities:
- Evaluate and Categorize Complaints: Assess and classify internal and external complaints to prioritize investigative actions effectively.
- Conduct Preliminary Investigations: Initiate and conduct initial inquiries, systematically collecting and evaluating evidence to determine investigative scope.
- Interview Stakeholders: Conduct and record comprehensive interviews with witnesses, employees, and relevant parties to gather critical information and insights.
- Prepare Investigative Reports: Document and summarize investigative findings into detailed reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance.
- Recommend Actions: Provide actionable recommendations derived from investigative outcomes, facilitating policy enhancements and procedural improvements.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Internal Audit, Legal, Human Resources, and operational teams to coordinate investigations and align on findings and resolutions.
- Maintain Confidentiality and Integrity: Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards throughout all stages of the investigation process.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to established investigative protocols, regulatory guidelines, and organizational policies to ensure thoroughness and legality.
- Train and Mentor: Support the development of junior investigative staff through training sessions, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in the enhancement of investigative methodologies, contributing insights and suggesting procedural refinements.
Experience:
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in conducting investigations, preferably in a corporate or security environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Criminology, Criminal Psychology,. Law, or related field preferred.
- Certifications such as CFE, ACAMS, CAFP, etc. are desirable.
Key Skills:
- Strong investigative and analytical skills.
- Excellent report writing and documentation abilities.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple investigations concurrently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of legal and ethical considerations in investigations.
- Certification in investigations or related fields desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic desirable, and additional languages are asset.
