Job description: Senior Accountant – Temp to Hire
Location: Santa Ana, CA (Onsite)
Pay: $90,000 – $100,000A well-established company in Santa Ana is seeking a Senior Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This onsite role requires strong financial reporting, reconciliations, and Excel skills.Responsibilities:Prepare month/quarter/year-end journal entries and allocationsMaintain fixed asset roll forwards and prepaid amortization schedulesPerform detailed GL and financial data analysisReconcile monthly bank and balance sheet accountsConduct income statement variance analysisReview AP/AR aging reports to support cash flowUnderstand and adjust AP/AR transactions as neededWork with project accounting, contracts, job costing, and progress billingHandle commissions calculationsHelp prepare sales and use tax returnsRequirements:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, HLOOKUP)

Experience with financial reporting and reconciliationsAttention to detail and analytical mindsetSage Intacct experience is a plusProject accounting or job costing experience preferredThis is a hands-on role for someone ready to hit the ground running. Expected salary: $90000 – 100000 per year
