Our sales team are at the center of it all.In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of sales strategy across the full SAS portfolio in & territory. This includes software & cloud and domain solutions.   • Sell SAS. Our solutions are the best of the best and help customers solve their problems – you get to translate that story to a sale.
  • Stay ahead of the curve. You’ll need to know SAS’ goals and objectives, SAS applications, supported hardware platforms, business trends and industry knowledge
  • Understand SAS’ pricing, licensing procedures and approvals matrix.
  • Uncover high-potential accounts and follow that lead. You’ll be the primary contact for prospective customers.
  • Work with other sales professionals, customer advisory team and executives to react quickly to highly qualified, high revenue potential leads.
  • Prepare quotes and proposal information and work cross-functionally to create and finalize contracts and set delivery schedules.
  • Provide a superior customer experience – we go the extra mile for our customers – and track customer satisfaction.
  • Travel up to 40% (mostly interstate) or as business requires – sometimes, you’ve got to meet your customers where they’re at, literally.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience in the sales of computer software solutions or business consulting with a focus on law enforcement/ public safety.
  • Ability to initiate and lead sales opportunities and to relate technical and business concepts to SAS applications and user needs.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a sales plan by relating SAS capabilities to enterprise challenges in Public Sector.
  • Growth mindset, creativity, and a value-based selling approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel for business.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, or other relevant discipline.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

  • Experience of selling software solutions to enterprise customers with a focus on analytics, SaaS, AI/ ML and/or Cloud.
  • Experience and expertise selling to senior decision makers and ability to align the value proposition of SAS capabilities to meet enterprise needs.
  • Solid relationship and network in the law enforcement/ public safety community with a strong reputation of conducting business ethically.
