We are looking for a technically skilled Report Writer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with SQL-based tools, particularly Sequel ViewPoint on IBM i (AS/400) systems. The Report Writer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting data reports to support both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SQL reports using Sequel ViewPoint
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather reporting requirements
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing SQL reports
• Learn and navigate internal systems and database structures
• Provide user training on report usage and data navigation
• Handle and resolve reporting-related support tickets in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL query writing, optimization, and debugging.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience in client-facing communication. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to validate report output against business requirements.
• Good to have hands-on experience with Sequel ViewPoint (HelpSystems/Fortra). Familiarity with legal or financial systems such as Aderant or Juris.
• Working knowledge of Crystal Reports.
• Background in accounting or law firm environments will be a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
