Job description: JOB OVERVIEWWe are seeking a highly skilled SQL Database Engineer with at least five years of hands-on experience in SQL development, database optimization, and query performance tuning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing reports, enhancing database efficiency, and ensuring data integrity across our web-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies for performance improvements.
Analyze and enhance database performance, troubleshooting slow queries and bottlenecks.
Develop and implement SQL-based solutions for data management, ETL processes, and report generation.
Assist in database design, normalization, and schema improvements to ensure scalability.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of professional SQL experience, with expertise in query optimization, stored procedures, and indexing.
Extensive experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Strong understanding of performance tuning, execution plans, and database profiling tools.
Experience handling large datasets and optimizing reporting processes.
Ability to troubleshoot database issues and implement efficient solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.SKILL REQUIREMENT
