We are a purpose-led member organisation striving to create greater value for our members and deliver on our purpose to be “The driving force for a better WA.”An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced and passionate Sponsorship Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.Reporting to the Senior Manager Partnerships this role will manage and maximise the effectiveness of the RAC sponsorship portfolio including the RAC Rescue helicopters, RAC Arena and RAC Derby as well as a supporting community initiatives aligned to our vision.What will you be doing?

• Team management – creating an engaged and empowered team culture and working with your team to contribute to long term strategies for areas of accountability.
• Managing sponsorship enquiries and feedback, developing appropriate responses as well as provide consultative advice to other RAC business units seeking sponsorship.
• Administering and overseeing successful sponsorships including the execution of contracts, invoices, reporting and acquittal procedures as well as implementation of sponsorship benefits including marketing and activations.
• Managing sponsorship commitments including regular contact with stakeholders ensuring contractual obligations are implemented and achieved.
• Developing initiatives to increase awareness and engagement of RAC’s sponsorship programs to internal and external stakeholders.
• Seeking new sponsorship opportunities, provide recommendations to the Sponsorship Committee and negotiate sponsorship agreements.
• Managing the sponsorship budget and events that are associated with the sponsorship programs.
• Preparing Sponsorship reports for Council, Board and the Committee’s.
• Reviewing and advising on key areas of improvement regarding the RAC Sponsorship program.
• Representing RAC, specifically in relation to sponsorship activity, via communication channels including media.

What are we looking for in you?

• Experience in managing stakeholder relationships and handing sponsorship agreements.
• Experience in marketing and leveraging sponsorships and in coordinating events.
• Well-developed understanding and experience in marketing sponsorship programs.
• Demonstrated project management skills, time management and organisational skills.
• Clear communication with the ability to deliver multi- mode communications to different audiences.
• Highly motivated and exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to think strategically.
• Ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks / changing assignments.
• Sound knowledge of current Sponsorship industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce or Business (desirable).
