Job description: Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our gravure printing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing all production activities to ensure high quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of printing jobs, while minimizing waste and maintaining safety standards.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule daily and weekly production based on job orders and client deadlines.

• Supervise and manage the printing, lamination, slitting, and finishing teams across all shifts.

• Ensure maximum machine uptime and coordinate preventive maintenance with the engineering team.

• Monitor and control production KPIs such as wastage, downtime, output per hour, and material utilization.

• Manage inventory of raw materials, inks, adhesives, and films, and raise timely requisitions.

• Implement and maintain quality control checks throughout the production process.

• Resolve any technical or operational issues that may impact production timelines.

• Train, guide, and motivate the workforce to improve productivity and maintain discipline.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on the shop floor.

• Collaborate with Sales, Pre-press, Procurement, and Dispatch departments for smooth coordination.

• Continuously seek process improvements to reduce cost and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Printing Technology / Industrial Management (preferred).

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in flexible packaging / gravure printing production.

• Strong technical knowledge of printing machines, laminators, slitters, and packaging materials.

• Proven leadership and people management skills.

• Good understanding of KPIs, production planning, and lean manufacturing principles.

• Problem-solving attitude with quick decision-making ability.

• Comfortable working in shift-based environments and under pressure.
