Job description: Key responsibilitiesDevelop and implement an inventory plan in order to provide EAD with the required supplies in a timely and efficient manner ▪ Develop and oversee the implementation of inventory control policies, processes and procedures in order to ensure compliance with set guidelines and standards ▪ Ensure development and maintenance of an inventory database to gather and store information on material utilisation and improve future procurement planning and decision making on supplies Validate the supplier’s data and matching the commercial license with the activities related to the categories provided, the tax register and bank data ▪ Develop warehouse policies, processes, procedures and inspections in order to protect stored supplies against damage, loss and theft and ensure inventory value is safeguarded ▪ Develop and implement a material classification system to manage the stock levels and the warehousing process, and to facilitate the implementation of logistics of materials ▪ Develop reports on available materials in stock, consumption rates, stock levels, etc., to assist in stock valuation, adjustment and reconciliation ▪ Manage the application of a physical classification system to manage stock levels and storage and facilitate the logistics of supplies ▪ Ensure accurate documentation of inventory supplies in order to manage the receipt and delivery of supplies and required stock levels ▪ Ensure all deliveries match the agreed specifications, and manage the return of faulty items, claims and warranties with suppliers/vendors ensuring EAD’s commercial interests are fully protected ▪ Ensure the Inventory and Warehouse management is conducted with internal procedures and guidelines. ▪ Ensure the materials received are reviewed and examined; and checked against the purchase order ▪ preparing a list of the names of potential suppliers for the tenders offered according to their activity, including the results of the technical evaluation of previous tenders, if any, the results of the supplier’s performance, the local content certificate, informing the relevant departments on time, and continuous communication with the suppliers and following up with them to ensure participation in the tenders presented, responding to their inquiries, and providing them with the required clarifications and data. ▪ participate in the process of resolving disputes amicably with the supplier in coordination with end users and prepare minutes of meetings in coordination with the direct manager. ▪ Organizing and preparing an event to honor suppliers and holding periodic meetings and awareness workshops for suppliers annually in coordination with the direct manager. ▪ Qualifying a list of potential suppliers. ▪ Perform any other duties as requested by the reporting manager.
