The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to support business decision-making. The Tableau Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, implement data visualizations, and ensure the effective utilization of Tableau for data analysis. Responsibilities: 1. Dashboard Development: • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that meet business requirements. • Create visually appealing and user-friendly data visualizations to convey complex information effectively. 2. Data Analysis: • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into Tableau solutions. • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support strategic decision-making. 3. Data Integration: • Integrate data from various sources into Tableau for comprehensive and accurate reporting. • Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure seamless data connectivity and integration. 4. Optimization and Performance Tuning: • Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for performance and responsiveness. • Conduct regular performance tuning to improve the efficiency of Tableau reports. 5. Documentation: • Document data sources, data models, and Tableau processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and support ongoing maintenance. 6. Training and Support: • Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau functionality and best practices. • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving Tableau-related issues. 7. Collaboration: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders, to understand business requirements and deliver effective Tableau solutions. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • Proven experience as a Tableau Developer with a strong portfolio of Tableau dashboards and reports. • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniques. • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation. • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Tableau Desktop and Server certification is a plus.
