This role focuses on inventory reporting, delivering high-quality insights, and driving innovation through emerging technologies. Key tasks include data analysis, management reporting, interactive dashboard development, and impactful presentations.As part of the Global Supply Team, the Specialist will implement Group mandates and standards, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to present high-quality summaries to the Executive. This role supports cost and service goals in the highly regulated mining and civil construction industries.What you will be doing

  • Timeliness and Quality of Reports: Measure the punctuality and accuracy of regular reports and dashboards.
  • Actionable Insights: Evaluate the impact of insights derived from data analysis on business-wide improvements in the Planning discipline.
  • Effectiveness of Communication: Assess the effectiveness of presentations and communication in aligning cross-functional stakeholders to common goals.
  • Standardisation and Accuracy: Monitor the conformity of planning and inventory processes to group standards and organisational expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Track adherence to inventory targets (quantity, value, Days of Coverage (DOC), and Days in Inventory (DIH)), and monitor the value and write-off of aged inventory (180+ days).
  • Interactive Dashboards: Measure the usage and effectiveness of interactive dashboards in providing real-time visibility into key inventory metrics and trends.
  • Innovation in Analytics: Evaluate the implementation and impact of emerging technologies in enhancing the analytics capability of the Planning function.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Assess the effectiveness of coordination with cross-functional stakeholders in consolidating high-quality summaries for the Executive.
  • Reporting Standardisation: Track improvements in reporting standardisation, efficacy, and accuracy across the Planning function.

What you will bring

  • Proficiency in conversational English, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Accounting, or Finance in a heavy industries MNC environment.
  • Strong data governance and inventory management experience.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of building dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.
  • SAP system expertise, with experience in Advanced Planning & IBP modules preferred.
