• Proactively analyze and identify needs from the business or IT, and transform them into technical proposals and recommendations.
• Design, plan, and implement application architecture primarily, with a focus on infrastructure architecture as an advantage, along with platform services.
• Serve as a technical architect in designing and steering a diverse range of application and technology changes.
• Review existing platforms to facilitate future application and infrastructure design.
• Assess options for application and infrastructure design, offering optimal recommendations.
• Provide best industry practices and governance related to application and infrastructure services across technology teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT solutions within an enterprise setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, Node.js, or other web application development frameworks
• Strong understanding of software deployment, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience as a system/technical architect with comprehensive skills encompassing analysis, design, governance, practices, and processes
• Familiarity with APIs, Gateway Security, and various cloud infrastructure models (Private, Hybrid, Public)
• Proficient in infrastructure spanning servers (Windows & Unix), databases, storage, end-user computing, networks, and security
• Experience with both public cloud service providers and private cloud solutions
• Expertise in designing conceptual and logical data models for large-scale databases or data warehouses; knowledge of physical data modeling is advantageous
• Experience with Business Intelligence or Artificial Intelligence projects and roles such as data architect, data modeler, or ETL designer are beneficial
• Strong skills in conducting extensive data cleansing activities and monitoring data quality
• Industry experience in the hospitality sector (restaurants, retail, hotels, venues) with knowledge of POS and CRM systems
• Certification as a Scrum Master is preferred
• Additional qualifications in Project Management (PMP/Prince 2) are advantageous
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently and perform well under pressure
• Confident, self-motivated, quick learner, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, including Putonghua
