Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Architecture, the Solution Architect will collaborate with business sponsors, project managers, domain experts and business analysts to develop solution designs for various project initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in designing infrastructure solutions across technology domains including network services, server, data and cyber security in both on-premises and cloud environments. The Solution Architect will be responsible for ensuring the final design package addresses the needs of business and operational partners while aligning strategic objectives, governing principles, and existing technology standards.What you will be doing:
Solution DesignBuild detailed solution architecture to support project initiatives in alignment with business and strategic goals, operational requirements and project scope, timelines, and budgetCollaborate with domain experts (SME) to ensure solution details meet current state standards and objectives while supporting future state goalsCreate and propose technology standards, patterns or blueprints in support of practice efficiency and portfolio management goalsEvaluate current technology against business and technology requirements and provide fit-for-use technology recommendationsReview proposed architecture with key partners at the Architecture Review Board (ARB)Architectural DesignDevelop and implement architecture solution standards and practices to mature practice capabilities, develop and define design standards and enable process efficiencyCollaborate with technology partners to create and document practice standardsProvide reference architectures to promote reusabilityIdentify areas for improvement across all architecture domainsProvide leadership to establish and active as an active participate participant in the Architecture Community of Practice (ACoP)Promote Drive continual continuous improvement of solutions architecture practiceWhat you must have:Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences (Engineering, Systems Design, Information Technology and Computer Science) or Business8+ years of experience in information or operational technology design or senior architect roles, including hands-on experience in IT/OT architecture, supporting technology planning, or maturing technology servicesProficiency in provisioning and implementing technology in cloud, on-premises and hybrid configuration models. Ability to craft and integrate complex systems, ensuring they are scalable, secure and efficientStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex systems, processes and integrations and formulate actionable plans and effective solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical partnersFor more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
