We employ over 21,000 people worldwide.We are also a founding member of the oneworld global alliance whose combined network serves over 750 destinations worldwide.Reports to: Senior Solution LeadDepartment: Information Technology (IMT)This role is part of the Solution Centre in our Information Technology department who strive to be at the forefront of technological innovations and provide a seamless experience to our customers.As the Solution Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing subject matter technical competence in designing, implementing, maintaining, and administrating the Big Data Platform, data pipelines and machine learning solutions. You are responsible to develop solutions to bridge gaps and make sure the project scope is maintained, and solutions implemented in line with design.With your expertise and skills in solution delivery, you will be an integral part of our Business Intelligence team to support our Big Data and Data Engineering sub-team, gaining exposure in data solutions at a scale which only a world-renowned airline can provide.Key Responsibilities

• Support pre-project consulting for a portfolio pipeline of initiatives
• Support production deployment and lifecycle management of machine learning models
• Build and support large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines with data processing frameworks on Amazon Cloud Platform and hybrid cloud environments
• Collaborate with application development teams, architects, Data Scientists, Machine Learning experts, and stakeholders
• Develop, implement, and support IT products and applications to meet the customer and IT needs
• Plan and execute tasks/initiatives
• Test all solution aspects including but not limited to security, performance, and integration
• Keep abreast of the latest trends in technology, industry, and corresponding business domains
• Participate in Product Vertical Teams to continuously experiment, iterate, and deliver product objectives by adopting Agile development practices
• Act as an IT practitioner

Requirements

• Degree qualification in Information Technology related discipline
• 3+ years of related IT experience
• Over 2+ years of experience in the production deployment and lifecycle management of machine learning models using cloud-based platforms like AWS SageMaker, Azure ML Studio, or similar tools. Expertise in this domain is a must
• Hands-on experience in implementing and managing continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for big data and machine learning applications using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies. Preferably using AWS EKS or OpenShift or similar
• Proficiency in infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, or AWS CloudFormation, etc
• Experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines. Knowledge of PySpark, Python, Hadoop ecosystems, open-source development frameworks, etc
• Experience in cloud-based design and development preferably using AWS
• Experience in agile development processes and data-driven development
• Proven extensive client-facing experience with successful relationship management
