Job description: SOLICITOR – INSURANCE & LITIGATION OPPORTUNITY!An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and driven Solicitor to join the Insurance Litigation team within an award-winning National law firm in Sydney. This role offers exposure to complex financial lines and professional indemnity matters, encompassing a broad spectrum of disputes, including professional negligence, misleading or deceptive conduct, minority shareholder oppression, and wrongful dismissal.ABOUT THE ROLE:The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing strategic advice on insurance coverage issues and managing professional indemnity claims on behalf of insurance brokers. These claims often arise from financial lines, public liability, and ISR policies, frequently involving intricate coverage considerations such as aggregation, non-disclosure, and notification.ABOUT YOU:

• The ideal candidate will be an experienced lawyer with 1 to 3 years of post-admission experience, ideally having worked on some or all of the matters outlined above.
• Experience in general insurance litigation, financial lines, professional indemnity, and/or directors and officers (D&O) is preferred but not essential.
• The successful candidate will also have experience working with and analysing large data sets and evidence. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.
