This is an excellent opportunity for a civil litigation solicitor ready to take the next step in their career.About the Role:
You’ll be exposed to a broad mix of civil litigation matters including contractual, commercial, employment, shareholder, insolvency, construction, and property disputes. This is a hands-on role where you’ll regularly engage in advocacy and mediation, appear in court, and negotiate on behalf of clients. You’ll also work closely with partners and senior associates on more complex disputes, with clear pathways for career development and mentoring.What We’re Looking For:

• 2-4 years’ post-admission experience in civil litigation
• Strong courtroom and mediation experience
• Confident in end-to-end file management
• Excellent advocacy, written and verbal communication skills
• A collaborative approach and a proactive attitude

What You’ll Need:

• Admission to the High Court of New Zealand
• At least 1 year of dedicated civil litigation experience
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand (citizen, resident, or valid work visa)
