In a fast-growing company devoted to renewable solutions, your contribution will help shape the reputation for innovative, tailored solar installations in the domestic market.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with Homeowners: Meet with prospective residential customers (in-home or virtually) to understand their energy needs and evaluate how solar can meet those needs.
Provide Expert Guidance: Explain solar products and services in clear, relatable terms, including the environmental benefits, cost savings, and available incentives or grants (e.g., government solar rebate programs).
Prepare Customised Proposals: Develop and present tailored solar solutions and quotes for each customer, performing basic site assessments and using provided tools to estimate system size, cost, and ROI.
Follow Through the Sales Cycle: Diligently follow up with leads and inquiries, address customer questions or concerns, and guide customers from initial interest to signed contract.
Coordinate Installations: Collaborate with the technical and installation teams to schedule site surveys and installations, ensuring a smooth handoff of information and an excellent customer experience throughout the process.
Meet Targets with Integrity: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction, never compromising on honesty and service quality.
After-Sales Support: Check in with customers post-installation to ensure they are satisfied, address any issues, and encourage referrals, exemplifying a long-term commitment to clients.Required QualificationsEducation & Experience: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, environmental science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in sales (preferably in residential solar, home improvement, or related renewable energy field).
Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of solar PV systems and the residential renewable energy market.
Familiarity with local solar incentives and grant schemes (e.g., national solar rebate programs or grants) is highly desirable.
Certification: While not mandatory, training or certification in renewable energy or sales (e.g., a professional sales certification or solar energy course) is a plus.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems to track leads and proficiency with presentation tools or solar proposal software.
Driving License: Valid driver’s license is preferred, as the role will involve traveling to customer locations.Key Competencies and SkillsExcellent Communication: Superior interpersonal skills with an ability to listen to customer needs and clearly explain technical information in everyday language.
