Job description: Job Title: Software Development Engineer IIIPosition OverviewJoin our team to provide first-level support and contribute to the development and maintenance of production-level software applications. You’ll play a key role in diagnosing issues, optimizing back-end systems, and automating support processes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities

• Offer first-line support for production application issues and contribute to software maintenance.
• Design monitoring tools and troubleshoot internal systems using Perl, C/C++, and Java.
• Execute SQL queries to enhance data systems and feature performance tracking.
• Maintain and update tracking systems, resolving technical challenges proactively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development teams on corporate and divisional projects.
• Enhance and refine existing software, streamlining support processes through automation.
• Produce clear documentation of systems, processes, and solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficient in coding with Perl, C/C++, and Java.
• Strong experience in back-end development and database management.
• Experience with AWS service migrations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail.
• Self-driven and highly organized, able to perform under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Mason and Perl CGI.
• Hands-on experience with AWS service integration is a strong plus.
• Open to candidates across experience levels (SDE2–SDE4) with the ability to contribute immediately.

Work EnvironmentThis role starts with full on-site attendance (5 days per week), with the possibility of transitioning to remote or hybrid based on office capacity. You’ll thrive in a collaborative culture focused on back-end development, managing 22 services, and sunsetting legacy systems—no front-end responsibilities required.
