Job description: PrecisionERP is seeking a Software Developer on a 5-6 month contract at our financial services client in Toronto. Candidates will be required to work onsite 3 days per week. Candidates must be eligible for federal security clearance.

• 5-10 years’ experience of software developer experience is needed.
• Related industry certifications are an asset
• Deep knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
• Broad and deep working knowledge of structured design skills.
• Strong knowledge of data persistence patterns (relational, unstructured or cached forms)
• Strong knowledge continuous integration, code quality analysis and reviews
• Strong knowledge and understanding of emergent practices (Test-Driven Development, DevOps, cloud software development, APIs, reactive programming, big data, containerization)
• Extensive experience in one or more development platforms (Java/Jakarta EE, .NET, SAP, Hybris, Salesforce)
• Experience building complex software products (responsive web apps, web services, batch processing systems, ETL systems)
• Experience with test driven development & test frameworks
• Management of coding, usability and quality standards
