They also engage existing customers by making outbound calls, to identity and support additional needs.Collaborating with product partners and other team members, Small Business Specialists ensure appropriate lending and working capital solutions are provided to fulfil customer needs.This role leads to many career pathways within commercial banking and across the rest of ANZ. Work Schedule: Full-timeWhat will your day look like?As a Small Business Specialist, you will be:Meeting a broad range of business customers in the branch to understand their business banking needsPhoning existing customers to understand if they have additional banking needsCollaborating with product partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customer needsActing in the best interest of the customer to support their business needs with suitable products and servicesBuilding relationships with the local community to drive commercial value.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external networksAbility to meet and exceed performance targetsAbility to assess a customer’s ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors (the 5Cs of credit)Knowledge of small business operations, lending and transaction banking and working capital solutionsKnowledge of financial terminology, financial statements (such as Profit and Loss, balance sheets and cashflow statements) to evaluate the impact of a business decisionKnowledge of lending and cashflow needs and solutionsAbility to manage multiple tasks and keep track of customer documentation, banking transactions, and internal communications.You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
