Then, watch for a unique link in your email to apply.We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team on a 16-month term. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in enterprise application support, infrastructure monitoring, database administration, and ETL processes. You will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our enterprise platforms and integrations.Key Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise applications, integrations, and servicesPerform database administration and optimization tasks, primarily on Microsoft SQL ServerMonitor system performance and availability across Windows and Linux serversMaintain and improve infrastructure monitoring tools and dashboardsParticipate in incident response and root cause analysisAutomate manual processes using PowerShell and/or Python scriptingSupport and enhance ETL workflows, especially those built with SSIS and Dell BoomiCollaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHubEnsure systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with organizational policiesRequired Qualifications:3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or Application support roleStrong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including maintenance and troubleshootingProficient in Windows and Linux server environmentsSolid hands-on experience with PowerShell and Python scripting for automationDemonstrated experience supporting and troubleshooting .NET web applicationsDeep understanding of ETL concepts and hands-on experience with SSIS and Dell BoomiFamiliarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub for CI/CD and source controlStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communicator and team playerWe believe that time together in the office is important for OMERS and Oxford, the strength of our employees, and the work we do for our pension members.
