What will your daily responsibilities look like?
– moving steel bars (rebar) to the required work station
– using a metal shearing machine and table blender to form steel into the required size and shape
– ensuring that safe working protocols are followed for the benefit of the whole team
– high degree of safety awareness and commitment to safetyQualifications
The ideal candidate will possess
– you need at least 1 years’ experience as a shear operator or metal experience
– you must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
– you have a willingness to quickly learn processes and how to operate new equipment
– manual dexterity is important
– strong communication skills + a collaborative mindset
– must have your own transportation, as public transport is not available
– must have legal authorization to work in Canada by way of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit.Summary
