The question is, what powers you at work?Clearing & Settlement is one of five departments, reporting to Accounting & Control in the CFO area for the Nexi Group. Our Clearing & Settlement team plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations across the Nexi Group. We reconcile international clearings for Mastercard, Visa, and other card schemes, reconcile 900+ bank and balance sheet accounts, and support our business in projects for the Nexi companies currently operating in 25 European countries.Join a great team
In Clearing & Settlement, we are looking for a new colleague to help take our department to the next level. In this role, you will become a member of a dedicated and busy team, working closely with colleagues across the company. You will participate in ongoing activities such as controlling large and complex daily money flows, reconciliations, supporting the business in delivering best-in-class customer experience, and participating in the development of systems and processes. You will work with complex data and assist in preparing analyses on a high level.We foster a collaborative and supportive environment where every team member’s contribution is valued. The department includes 12 full-time employees and one student. We’re located in Ballerup but work with colleagues in several countries daily.In this role, you’ll power an easier tomorrow for all of us
You’re expected to develop your talent and aim higher as you work to change payments. You’ll build on our proven track record of developing and delivering innovative and reliable solutions and our strengths as a Nordic leader with 50 years of experience within payment solutions.Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Reconciliation of banks and balance sheet accounts
• Control of complex daily money flows related to card transactions
• Handling of bank transactions through web banks
• Continuous process improvement
• Closing of periods

Your professional acumen and experience form most of your qualifications, but it’s your personality that makes the difference to succeed in this role.Your background and qualifications include:

• A few years of experience in accounting and/or finance
• Ability to handle complex Excel workbooks
• Great analytical skills
• Good language skills, fluent in English and Danish language
• Excel super user
• Competence in SAP is an advantage
