Job description: Finance SSC, Controlling & Reporting. The Controlling and Reporting group is in charge of ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Company’s Financial Guidelines while securing engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project, or Group stakeholders and makes sure that the financial activities decisions are taken on a good financial business case that can and will be followed upon.Finance SSC
Controlling and Reporting
SBU Inventory & Service Controlling – SBU IIResponsibilities

• Coordinate and consolidate Service Monthly Performance Reporting
• Partner with Service Operations to ensure the finance aligns with the operational expectations
• Assist with the budget preparation process
• Support month-end close activities related to service financial reporting
• Monitor revenue and cost for Service
• Perform other ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
• Adhere to Euro SOX compliance requirements
• Assist the BPM team and Service Operations on various cost reduction initiatives such as crane cost, inventory turnover, transport cost, and the like
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to perform basic controlling tasks on Service Contracts as needed, such as revenue and cost recognition and forecasting, oversight of the availability of the Bonus/Liquidated Damage process
• Assist the Service Finance teams with ad-hoc projects and help prepare management reports if needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any Accounting or Finance course
• At least 5 to 7 years of Business Controlling or financial analysis experience
• Experience in project construction or manufacturing accounting is desired
• Professional written and oral communication skills
• Experienced in using the SAP ERP system
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to adjust to different situations
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and building smart, well-organized spreadsheets
• BPO/Shared Service experience is beneficial

Competencies

• Exposure to data quality management and keen on accounting details, MEND (Month End Close) reconciliation, and data analysis. Mend reporting and issue management
• Knowledge in Accounting Estimates and Revenue Recognition, particularly Completed Construction Method (CCM) and Percentage of Completion Method (POC)
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite computer skills, macros is an asset
• Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
• Has proficient ability to learn new and complex processes for migration
• Detail-oriented and able to perform amidst demanding circumstances
• Skilled in communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering
• Has a continuous improvement mindset in terms of process and continuously aspires for professional growth
• Able to navigate in SAP ERP system
• Ability to coordinate complex priorities and meet deadlines
• Regular and reliable attendance
