Tasks We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our agile, innovative environment and play a pivotal role in shaping groundbreaking software development projects. As leader of a future UX/UI Team, you’ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product owners to create user-centered designs that delight and engage. You will have the opportunity to take the design lead on projects, influence product direction, and ensure exceptional user experiences from concept to execution. Your Responsibilities Shape the user experience from a holistic perspective, designing entire applications from the ground up with a clear strategic vision. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners/external UX/UI designers, to define product direction, ensuring UX aligns with business objectives and user needs. Translate complex requirements into intuitive design concepts, leveraging wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design intent effectively. Work on the UX aspects of projects, creating user flows and interaction models that enhance the overall user experience. Handle day-to-day UI work on a project basis, ensuring design consistency and high-quality execution. Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions Advocate for UX/UI excellence and contribute to building a strong UX/UI culture at V_labs. Including the opportunity to help build and shape our in-house UX/UI team as we scale Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new design tools, and emerging UX patterns to ensure cutting-edge solutions Requirements Minimum 7-10 years of experience in UX/UI, with a strong foundation in digital product development and designing (mobile) applications. A T-shaped designer who deeply specializes in UX/UI while having broader knowledge in areas like branding, research, and design strategy—able to support, coach, and collaborate across design disciplines. Strong leadership experience, preferably in a cross-location team. Familiarity with agile project methodologies and how they integrate with design workflows. Experience in creating design systems and handing them over to developers, including basic knowledge of feasibility/implementation (ideally Flutter). Ability to think strategically in the product context; strong conceptual skills to advance ideas in the long term. Always up-to-date with popular design tools and methods like Figma, Adobe Suite, Webflow, Bubble, Material Design, etc. Excellent English and German language skills Benefits Enjoy job security working with our stable and reliable customers, ensuring a safe and consistent workplace for the next years. Closing Our minimum salary for this position is a yearly gross salary of EUR 56.000,00 based on full-time employment. Of course, there is a willingness to pay more, depending on your qualifications and experience.
